SPACE MEMORY
This project marked my first experience taking a game from initial concept to full production. My objective was to master the entire development lifecycle—covering narrative world-building, mechanical programming, and the final publishing process. To achieve this, I developed Space Memory, a mobile title built in Unreal Engine 4 and published on the Google Play Store.
The gameplay revolves around a memory-matching loop where players stabilize a planet’s core by restoring “Order.” I designed the project to be versatile in its interaction; players could engage with the game in a mobile VR mode or, if they preferred not to use VR, switch to manual commands using a controller. This project served as a vital foundational milestone, teaching me the intricacies of the mobile deployment pipeline and how to build a unified system that supports different hardware input methods on a single device, implement achievements, Google features, Ads, and other ‘mobile’ mechanics.
